Space within a Space
It is refer to a bigger space which contain a smaller space. The space is depends on the size, if the inner space is getting bigger, then the idea of 'space within a space' will disappear. In my case, you can see a circular space within the big space, the orientation of the circular space also give a dynamic view in environment as well.
It is refer to a overlapped spaces. The interlocked part create a new space in the two objects. As you can see in the picture, two huge parts overlapped each other and share space.
SPATIAL ORGANIZATION
Linear Organization
It is a series of space which is linked by same direction. The elements are usually repeated by the same size and form to create a long length of line. As you see in the pictures, the grasses and the buildings are repeated and linked to a straight line.
Radial Organization
It combines centralized and linear organization at the same time to create a main point and collect a number of lines to be a radial manner. The center is more of an organizing node than it is a major space.
Obviously, it is consisted of the grid pattern. They usually be repeated then placed in space. In my case, even though they are not exactly the same grid, the irregular shape of the square could also give us a sense of the organization.
Great job on explaining the vocabulary and on diagramming. For the diagram for space within a space, I would just show the larger object that the other object is encompassed inside of. Overall, GREAT JOB!!!
ReplyDeleteNice job! Your diagrams look good.
